1 John 3:16-24 “What Love Looks Like”

Sometimes, to understand what something is, we need to understand what it isn’t.

John has been speaking to us of the non-negotiable, absolutely essential element of love

for the body of Christ that will be in the child of God. In fact, he went as far as to say that

“love for the brethren” was one way in which we could detect (or discern) a child of God

from a child of the devil. That being said, if love is a non-negotiable, essential imperative,

then we better have a crystal-clear understanding as to exactly what love is…
